|On display at the New York Gift Show in the "Mica" glaze.|
One of the pieces in our "Cast Things" line at Lesley Anton, is the ever adorable honey bear. Cast from the bottle she used for her dish soap, we replicate our little friend in porcelain clay. We've surfaced the bears in a metallic "Mica" glaze, making them statuesque, or a flat- black under glaze leaving a quiet, yet strong presence where ever he is. They are available in any of the glazes, so you can choose what kind of bear you'll have. Initially made to be purely sculptural, he is now available with a hole in the spout, transforming into the sweetest, little single-stem vase.
|Thanks to my mold master friend, Uri, I'm using a rubber casting process to mass produce the bears. They are covered in the first layer of pink rubber! So yummy!|
